Where is happiness?
My thoughts tonight linger on that question.
It’s in gratitude. The answer comes.
When I focus on me, I’m unhappy. When I focus on the blessings I have been given and see them all for the gifts that they are, I am full of happiness. I have to let my will go. I have to offer up my hopes and wishes and desires to the Lord, place them at his feet (along with my weaknesses) and then simply step back and let Him do His thing and be grateful for all of it. I am deserving of nothing; all of it is a gift.
Through gratitude comes happiness.
And that is why I am forever grateful!
