Recent Joys:
- The handful of freckles that splash across the bridge of my 4 year old son’s nose. They make me smile.
- The beautiful snow in Ely and the Lord watching over us as we drove in it.
- My oldest daughter and her independence and responsibility. I came across her most recent report card (hadn’t heard a thing about parent conferences etc.) and saw that her gpa is 3.9 and that she is 13th in her class. She handles everything on her own. I have not had to interfere with her education etc ever. I have not had to get after her to get her work done – she just does it on her own. I love it! She will definitely take herself places and not need mom or dad to get her there. In fact, she already has a plan for her future. It makes my heart so happy that she can be so self-sufficient.
- Listening to my 7 year old daughter sing her own made up song about friendship while she playfully tinkered with the piano keys.
- Trying out a martial arts class with my 13 year old daughter. We had so much fun trying the wrestling moves on each other. We laughed and laughed. It was a blast!
I am so grateful for life! I know that my Savior has gifted me to be here, to have a family, to be a mother, to have intelligence and ability. I will forever love Him for it!
