Old Journal Entries

I keep several journals. I keep one for each of my children. I keep some for friends and for church and for personal growth etc. They are everywhere, and occasionally it is fun to pull them out and read through them. Here are some random entries from one I have kept for someone:

1.23.19 Know what I love about Pres. Henry B. Eyring? He laughs through his tears. He is a very graceful crier. I want to learn to do that. I love him. He inspires me!

1.27.19 God loves His children so much! I see this in so many ways and so often. I don’t think people really know, not like this at least. I wish they did. I wish they and you could see His love for you. It is immaculate. He values you and treasures you in ways I know but can’t even come close to explaining. I wish you could see it… He loves you!

4.14.19 Have I ever told you how much I love church?! You know I totally do! The last couple of of Sundays I have not wanted to go, but I drag myself there every time and never regret it! I am instantly happy the second I am there. Today I taught my little class of 8 year olds. I love them! There are about 8 boys and 1 girl and although there are moments of chaos, there are several moments of learning through the Spirit. When I see all of their adorable faces looking at me, actually paying attention as I bear testimony to them, I remember why I come to church – why I love the gospel so much – why I am who I am. I can’t tell you how grateful I am to have the gospel in my life! I have been rescued over and over again by my Savior. I am completely humbled at His love for me. I don’t deserve any of it, but I am grateful for it forever! I have turned so many things over to Him in my life and have learned that when I do, even if I don’t know or understand His plan for me at that particular time in my life or with that particular situation, He always has my back and I find unexplained happiness through Him. I love Him. He is my best friend.

Ha ha. That’s fun. I love being able to recall specific events that have helped my testimony grow and be strengthened.

Forever grateful!
