New Year’s Resolutions

2022 New Year’s Resolutions:

Put my phone down more often. It doesn’t bring me happiness. I am the type of person who needs quiet space in her life. It is a necessity that I ponder and reflect and have peace in my head. I don’t know exactly what it is about phones, but they plague us with distractions and consume our attention. I resolve to be more disciplined and intentional with my attention, providing more quiet and organized space in my head – allowing me to make better decisions guided by the Holy Ghost, by putting my phone down.

Dedicating this year to the Lord. This means that I work to be my best for Him. It means I do my callings the best I can. That I study Come Follow Me weekly. That I attend church meetings regularly and consistently. That I pray intentionally with awareness in my pleas. That I pray for the Holy Ghost to be with me, and that I follow when I hear His prompting. It means I am open to the influence of the Lord’s hand in my life and to His guidance. It means that I live for Him. I am going to try.

Live with gratitude in my heart daily. I have been given so much, been so blessed. Life is truly a gift. I want to remember every single day how much the Lord has offered me. I want to see and feel the beauty in all of it. I want to remember and give thanks.

I love starting a new year, just like I love starting a new week. New beginnings and resolves to do and be better never have to end. Gain a vision of what you want in the end, and don’t take your eyes off of it. With the end in mind, keep trying.

Forever grateful.
