“Perfect love is perfectly patient.” – Elder Neal A. Maxwell
I ponder that statement above and wonder at how it really applies to my life right now. I believe in learning. I believe we are always learning. I believe we are meant to learn. It is growth.
So pondering Elder Maxwell’s quote … makes me also add that perfect love is perfectly faithful. And perfectly hopeful. Because I can’t be patient without faith and hope in whatever I am being patient for.
I want to apply it to my life and live in that perfect love state, but sometimes it is so hard. I really need to learn to simply forgive and let go. I have been counseled to stay close to the Lord; to keep my focus on Him and none of the rest of it really matters. I know and understand that, but keep getting off the mark. It is so hard to let go sometimes. I’m trying.
Forever grateful to have ongoing counsel and guidance from the church leaders. I love and appreciate their hard work, both physically and spiritually.
