The rain has been beautiful! I walked as it drizzled and let it bring me to life this evening.
Today was a good day. The rain, of course, but before that was sunshine and walking my favorite hill, and pruning fruit trees (it was hard with my shoulder, but I managed – definately the days I wish I had someone to help me), and reseeding spots on the lawn, and teaching 4 year olds in church – I forget how squishy sweet that age group is.
I learned that my shoulder does not need surgery. That was a relief, especially since I’m already scheduled for 2 other surgeries. The first is in a week and I won’t lie, I’m a little nervous about it. It’s a minor surgery, but still, luck has not seemed to be on my side lately with those things, haha, so yeah, I’m a little nervous.
Overall, though, I just feel grateful. I am grateful for the Lord in my life. I know that I am not perfect. I know that I screw things up often and that I can be a difficult person, but I also know that my Savior is right here beside me and understands what I and others cannot about me, at least He is still here for me. He is always the one here. I am forever grateful for His unwavering and consistent love. It means the world to me.
