I have heard stories of time slowing down, life events running in review, and people being protected by unseen forces in threatening or near death experiences. As I see all of it unfold before me, clearly now, I wonder if this is like that? It compiles in a manner that should crush me easily, but I feel none of it. Instead, I feel a force of swirling peace around my heart shielding the destruction. Swirling peace; gentle, light, and calm, that is all that is there. Put at rest at last.
The Lord promises we will not be given more than we can handle. The Lord keeps His promises. There is peace in truth.
