General Conference was held this past weekend. I love getting to listen to the church authorities speak so much! Impressions I had this time:
- There existed an overarching press to simply love everyone for who they are. This world needs more love and tenderness in it.
- Pay attention and be careful where and from whom you seek truth. So many out there deceive and don’t have truth for themselves.
- The new temples were announced and I couldn’t help but feel the truth in the security and stability of the Lord. His work moves forward, with or without us, amidst this chaotic time in the world. It is one of the only places of secure peace and truth. The Savior is our Rock.
- Jesus Christ wants us near Him. His mercy is great. His forgiveness is great. He will accept us if we want it.
Forever grateful to get to be a part of it, and grateful that we are allowed to have General Conference back in the conference center.
