Think of the time that gets put into the planning and organizing of building a temple. There is one going in right down the street. Right now, it isn’t pretty. It’s in pieces and no final shape can be seen; the vision of it can’t be seen. But anybody who has had part in creating or building a home knows all of the little detail that goes into such a project. Countless hours of planning and securing appropriate pieces is spent long before the grand design of the final product is produced.
Brother Juarez talked about how we are like the construction of the temple. Countless hours have been spent (and continues to be spent) on the details of our design. Think about all of those details that go into the building of the temple! Our loving Father in Heaven labors diligently and endlessly in this fashion for you, His child. Why? Why does He do it? He does it because He can see the final result. That is what He works for, and that is what we must trust about Him.
We cannot always see that final result that He sees, but we know His love because we have learned about it through scripture and personal prayer and so can trust His design. We are under construction, a work in progress, but we must strive and continue to work for it just like He does for us. When we are willing to work for what we can become just like the Lord does, our efforts align and become a force that can only reach that vision the Lord has in mind for us. There’s no stopping it. His love for us is far greater than we can comprehend. We only get glimpses of it.
