When two days later Coltrin left kind notes with treats for each family member, Sidney half-heartedly remarked with a sarcastic flip of her hair, “See what I started?”
I did see what she started, and I hope she really saw what she started too. The impact we have on other people in our lives through small and simple things can be so great. A simple smile or kind acknowledgement can make someone’s day. We set examples everywhere we go without even knowing it.
Love one another as Jesus loves you.
Try to show kindness in all that you do.
Be gentle and loving in deed and in thought.
For these are the things Jesus taught.
