Bedtime is my most favorite time with my children! This time is so precious and valuable to me!
Lately, our routine has been to read and study a section from Come Follow Me and then listen to the book about President Nelson. Tonight we got a late start and my kiddos were all super tired so I was just going to read scriptures and skip the book, but as I tucked Eddie into bed he begged, “Please can we listen to President Nelson stories?” I couldn’t resist his sweet, little, 6 year old, tired plea, and so put it on and watched those baby soft, chubby little cheeks drift to sleep to stories about President Nelson’s life.
Another favorite moment was watching Sidney catch a fish at Kolob. She has always been the child who ends up catching nothing, so to watch her catch one on a jig (landing a fish on a jig is not easy to do) all on her own was so fun. She was so excited!
A third favorite moment was listening to my kids oo and aww over the scenery of that drive coming down from Kolob. It leaves me speechless. It’s breathtaking. I have got to find a way to get me a cabin up there. It’s on my radar 💯.
I feel so blessed! Life is too good. I don’t even know exactly why, really. I’m just so happy and content with where I am and where I am going. I love my Heavenly Father! I love that He has a plan for me that is way better than I could have ever had for myself. I trust in His plan. I am so grateful to be here and am ready for whatever He has in store for me.
Forever grateful!
