I can’t express enough how grateful I am for my Heavenly Father’s love in my life. Life is so amazing. I have been learning and growing in so many new directions lately. I love it. I feel so blessed to have the wonderful children I have, to get to watch them learn and grow and to get to spend the time I have been able to with my family. I have loved having my little brother around more and getting to know him better. It’s fun to watch my kids get to form a relationship with him too.
Mother’s Day was the best! My kids pampered me with food and foot rubs, and we spent some time at Kolob Reservoir. I love that area so much. It is so beautiful. The fishing hasn’t been great lately, but that’s okay, the serenity of it all makes up for it.
Jentri made me this super cute Mother’s Day card that termed the title “Mad.” It it mom and dad combined. She said I was the best mad, ha ha. That girl is pretty darn creative.
I had the kids build their own boats to race down the ditch today. Jentri had a design that had a sail and a balloon that release air to help propel the boat (she won the race). Coltrin had a design after the Jaredite boat. He took second. My dad was there to help the kids build their boats. He said he knew right away where Coltrin had gotten his inspiration from when he saw his boat. I love that my dad still knows enough of the scriptures to think that first. Roots grow deep!
I have loved spending so much time with my family lately! I feel so blessed.
